Campaigners

'Unto Him'

Campaigners is an evangelical, uniformed youth organisation working in partnership with churches across the UK. It is Christ - centred, church-based and with Christian leaders. The Northern Ireland Region has 2,500 members aged between 4 and 18 years meeting weekly in over 30 churches. At Campaigners young people can learn about a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through a programme of Bible teaching, activities, games, awards and badges.

Within the organisation there are four sections which relate to four different age groups and meet weekly at Loughgall Presbyterian Church Hall between September and May.

 

EAGLES

Ages : 4 to 6 years, meeting Mondays, 6.30 to 7.30pm.

In a playground environment, Eagles play, create, laugh and learn together. The STEPS award encourages new activity from drawing to tying up shoe laces. In 'Clan C' children hear Bible stories and are encouraged to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

JUNOS

 

 

 

 

Ages : 6 to 10½ years, meeting Tuesdays, 7.00 to 8.30pm.

In Junos you can learn many new things such as baking, crafts and playing exciting games. Visits to the swimming pool and the annual football tournament are always enjoyed. The lively programme of events is just the thing for any child and the 'Clan C' teaches children about the Christian faith.

The blue designer uniform gives children pride and a sense of belonging.

INTERS

Ages : 10½  to 13½ years, meeting Mondays, 7.30 to 9.00pm.

For the go-ahead youngster, Inters offers a great variety of activity. There are opportunities for sport, art, craft, first - aid and cooking. In 'Clan C' children have a weekly program of Bible teaching. Badges can be obtained for various activities.

CRAFTSMEN

Ages : 13½ to 18 years, meeting Monday, 7.30 to 9.00 pm.

Craftsmen - the exciting teenage outlet with craft, cooking and sporting activities. The programme is dynamic and flexible, offering leadership training and helps young people discover the reality of the Christian faith.

Camp is held during the month of August at the Faith Mission Camp Centre, Portadown. Young people get the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Bible and learn of the experiences of past missionaries. A wide range of fun-filled activities and a number of enjoyable trips are included in the programme.
